Volodymyr Lytvyn, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine expressed for the Elaboration of Efficient State Policy in the Sphere of Energy Availability.
It was declared by V. Lytvyn on Wednesday in Ivano-Frankivsk during the meeting with the students and teaching stuff of National Technical Oil and Gas University.
According to the Head of the Parliament, "unfortunately considerable part of oil and gas deposits is in the private property" and the state "does not receive anything from the extraction."
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine highly appreciated the level of the scientific qualification and cooperation in the University. According to V. Lytvyn, energy availability techniques should be realized.
V. Lytvyn also deems that self-extracted gas should be directed exclusively on the municipal services and its price should be controlled by the state. Value-added tax should also be annulled regarding the citizens payment for the gas in public-utility services.
"It also needs efficient state policy and unfortunately that today is not observed", - he concluded.
As it was informed earlier, V. Lytvyn on Thursday -Friday is staying with the working visits in Ivano-Frankivsk and Ternopil regions.
